How do I contact Newport Gifts & Baskets?

Our phone lines are open Monday through Friday from 9 AM - 5 PM EST. We're often out of the office for deliveries and shopping, please leave a voice message if we do not answer.  We are closed on National Holidays. However, you may place an order online 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Our phone number is 401-835-0911.

Confidentiality

Your confidentiality is guaranteed. We NEVER sell or rent our list of customer names.

Return/Replacement

Your satisfaction is guaranteed. If there is a problem, please must notify us within 7 days, retaining all products and shipping materials. Shipping fees and delivery costs are not refundable. We reserve the right to request that an unsatisfactory item be returned to us prior to replacement.

Shipping Charge Policy

Shipping charges on our website are an estimate, actual shipping charges will be added to all orders outside of our local hand delivery area.  Due to the nature of favors, shipping charges will be calculated after the order is packed for shipping. 
This ensures a more accurate and economical fee to you.  We charge you the actual shipping fees that are charged to us.

May I pay with a credit card?

Yes! We accept Visa and MasterCard. You will receive a receipt for your purchase.

When is my credit card charged?

Your credit card is charged when we receive your order. We will not ship or deliver your gift selection until payment has been confirmed.

Will my order be safe and secure?

Yes! Our on-line shopping is available, it is safe and secure. When you enter our secure server you can safely enter your credit card information. If ordering online makes you uncomfortable, call us at 401-835-0911.

Can I include my own message on the gift card?

Of course! Your message will be written on a gift card that compliments the basket. You will be asked for this information during the ordering process.

Do you hand deliver locally?

Yes, however, due to the unprecedented gas prices, we are forced to suspend our Complimentary Local Hand Delivery  to addresses on Aquidneck Island.
Please call or e-mail us for any local deliveries - instead of set delivery fee, we will evaluate each order - we may have several baskets going to the same area on a given day and the delivery charge would be nominal or even waived. We thank you for understanding; we will resume our normal Complimentary Local Hand Delivery policy once gas prices subside. We ship nationwide.

Please provide recipient's phone number, we will not deliver without first contacting the recipient. If the address you are sending to is out of our delivery range, your gift will be shipped. For most orders, next day delivery is available if order is placed by 12 PM EST, Monday - Friday.

Due to the high volume of orders received during the holiday season, we can not guarantee same or next day local delivery.

When will my order be shipped?

Gift Basket orders received by 12 PM EST Mon-Fri will most likely be shipped the next day. Orders received after 12 PM EST, on Fridays, weekends and holidays, gifts baskets will be shipped the following business day.  Favors usually ship within 3 - 5 business days.  Personalized Favors,  Custom and Matching Tags ship separately from favors and may take 7 business days, unless otherwise noted.

What else do I need to know (chocolate, taxes, billing)?

During warm weather months we may replace chocolate products in your gift selection with various chocolate flavored items (brownies, fudge, cookies) that will not melt! Orders delivered to Rhode Island addresses will be charged RI Sales Tax, currently 7%.

Will the basket I order look the same as the picture on your website?

Our designs and inventory are constantly changing. We are always looking for new products and enhancements to create fresh new looks for our baskets. We will always use only the finest gifts, foods and containers. For the most part, your gift basket will be the same as pictured on our website and will most likely look better than the photos you see here! However, due to availability of products and seasonal differences, we reserve the right to substitute products of equal or greater value when it becomes necessary. We guarantee you and your recipient will be delighted with any of our gift baskets.

How much notice do you need during peak holiday seasons?

Most orders will be completed in a few days or less. Shipping lead times become more critical as the holiday approaches. Please call if you have any questions regarding your holiday order.
